Julia Child is one of televisions most beloved cooking personalities. Why not have a Julia Child inspired Dinner party to celebrate the upcoming movie, or to just show you're a fan.

The upcoming movie about the famous Julia Child has renewed my interest in all things Julia. I used to watch her Baking with Julia program and the one where she starred alongside Jacques Pepin. With all the buzz surrounding Julie and Julia, I grabbed a copy of Mastering The Art of French Cooking It is monstrous and very thorough. Its also a lovely reference book to have on hand. Although I don't plan on taking a year of my life to blog about my crazy adventures while trying to cook my way through the book, I do plan to pay my respects to a woman who taught us all so much by having a dinner party based on some of her dishes.
